Epilogue

Garrison to Sligo
Distance: 32 miles / 51 km

Bus transfer from Ramelton to Garrison (Northern-Ireland).
While waiting for Stephen we signed his card.

Started next to Lake Melvin. A rather cold day: it was "freezing" when we got on our bikes again and there were some annoying swarms of flies / midges along the road (swallowed some ... yack...)
(Don't remember much of this tour - please help me someone...)

Publunch in Manorhamilton: a pub that was almost empty when we arrived, but it soon became crowded... Lunchtime, I guess...

(Still some empty memory...) Pitstop at Parkes Castle. Sightseeing at the castle. The chocolate cake was delicious... :) Outside of the castle we had a photosession.

..... .....

Then we were back where we started; in Sligo (Home, sweet home...)

Accommodations:
Pearse Lodge: (the same people as the first day; Bente & Ketil even got the same room)
St. Annes (?): The rest...

Met at Foley's for yet some Smithwicks and gin&tonics (in plural...) before dining at a fancy restaurant "........" with GREAT food. Caroline had written a poem to each of us, she even sang Finns poem ("I'm a Lumberjack"-tune, of course).

..... .....

..... .....

..... .....

Stephen did his job and ended his 'speach' with "Welcome back next year".

After dinner we went for Foley's, but it was too crowded. So we ended up somewhere else ("around the corner - right - right", someone told us at McLynn's), which was an OK pub with atmosphere and live music.

A nice end to a great week.
